When I fill the FROM / TO the fmc, the whole FSX crashes, making it impossible to play. I've tried reinstalling, but did not work! Help me, please (EN-US)

Quando preencho o FROM/TO do fmc, todo o FSX trava, sendo impossível jogar. Já tentei reinstalar, mas não funcionou!! Me ajudem, por favor (PT-BR)

Is your MD-11 completely upgraded to version 1.20.0055? I think this was included in that upgrade.

This is a strange one i had the same problem before i had the same problem had the md-11 updates to the latest sp etc and for some reason the problem has gone away, the only thing i can think off is the updates of the o/s system. I did the re install but it didnt work, as per the op has said. So i can only suggest is to do the updates of your pc etc to see if it will disappear as mine did

Positive, my version is the most current available. When I fill the FROM / TO, my FSX crashes. I can not run anymore.

The FSX I get no error message, only crashes.

The only thing i did to solve the same problem was to update my pc with the latest updates etc other than this if it doesnt work put ina suppoirt ticket in.

Side note it only happen to me when using the to and from fmc entry of airports. Using the co route didnt crash my pc so what happens if you use the co route instead of the to and from entry

Try clearing all your PMDG flightplans out. (or move them to a different folder)

If I remember correctly, Nick is right. When you enter a FROM/TO the MD11 looks for stored flight plans. If it finds a stored plan it attempts to gather the waypoints for pilot review and activation. If a flight plan was produced with a diffferent cycle date from what is currently on the FMC occasional issues can occur.

That's partially correct, except that it probably wouldn't be the cycle differences. I know in particular that there are some issues with how FSCommander makes some of the flightplans. We've had a few people that use it solely to plan flights and they were having tons of issues like this.

Be interesting to see what the cause of it since i dont use fs commander and hadn't change the cycle at all, did the re-install option but problem persisted. if i used the to and from option and at certain airports it would crash. When i used the co route it didn't crash no matter what airport i used. Than i updated my o/s system and the problem went away so maybe the updaing my pc had solved it or it could one of those mysteries of the pc world of gremlins at work
