ERJ wants to stall

Featured Replies

What is O.A.T? West des Moines also. Weights were close to max in the config tool but should have increased speed with my throttles all the way forward. Landed the plane but manual throttle is tricky with this plane.

Outside air temperature.

If the weather is hot up high , ie hot and thin, it's impossible to get any decent power from the engines.

This happens sometimes if your weather apps server goes down, or something sets the weather wrong.

Eg FSInn FSCopilot sets the inverse - it wrongly increases temps as you climb.

At 36,000 feet your OAT should be quite far below 0 Celsius.

Also - its a longshot but are you sure both engines still running?

If you have a mixture lever hardware - ensure it is full rich. Underlying these jets the mixture is still there internally. If you want a demonstration, set mixture full lean and watch your engines will shut down :)

The other potential cause is FSUIP mappings being incorrect if you use it. You can rule that out by backing up and resetting FSUIP ini files to see if it still happens.

Hello

If you are using the latest Fsuipc try changing AxesWrongRange=No to AxesWrongRange=Yes

in the General section of your Fsuipc.ini

Pete has fixed a long standing bug but earlier aircraft with fadecs implemented through Fsuipc may now need this setting changed.

This fixed the Fadec on my Eaglesoft CX 2.0, I have no idea if it will fix the ERJ but you may as well try.

I went ahead and changed the axeswrongrange from no to yes. We will see if that fixes the issue. Waiting for REXESS to load. Been sitting here for 35 minutes for the interpolating process and I even turned down the range. Great program just takes some patience. When I get everything loaded I will try it again and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks for all the suggestions and help from EVERYONE! Have a good day or night depending on your time zone.

There's a flaw in the current version which leads to a huge rex.mdb file within the REX-E folder, leading to a slowdown. If you have MS Access, open it and enable that compress and repair feature at closing. The speed should then be back to normal.

They have it on the list for the SP1, but until then, this may help to speed up the program again.

I have seen this ms access a few times in different posts but I know nothing about it it. I don't know where to find it or how to use it.

With the REX E weather engine, once the weather is downloaded you can clik the flynow to start it. You don't have to wait for all that other "stuff". As Cool guys stated, you can change that interpolation thingy later. I personally use ASE as my weather engine on a networked computer and REX E textures.
