You're on to something. This panel is quite complex with many procedures available, and, yes, sometimes it matters if you left-click or right-click.So far I have translated the Main Panel, FMS Flight Computer, INS System, and Cold Cockpit manuals. These are strictly written translations which, IMHO, work very nicely in a Notepad window alongside the German version. I can probably finish these in another 2-3 days. :-)If I produce Word docs (which would include pictures) it will take longer. :-roll Any other respondants, please let me know if I should go for speed (Notepad version) or thoroughness (Word version). Thanks!Alex M.

If you want speed then each of us can insert into a word document the pictures contained in the original files. A word doc without pictures would permit this instead of a notepad doc. Seems to me this option would allow the user to put in what he wishes and still keep your time involvement to a minimum.Jim

Jim-Suggestion noted. Sounds like a good way to go. :D Alex M.

:D English (translation) manuals uploaded to the AVSIM library today. Might be a goof here... there... ;)http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=49527 is the text only in both Word and Notepad formats. :Dhttp://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=49529 is all the pictures, for anyone who wants to assemble complete manuals to printout. :D Original aircraft with German language manuals is at http://www.omwings.com/TriStar.htmAlex M.

Thanks Alex, much appreciated!

Now I finally have some time to actually fly it! :-lol Alex M.

Just installed as sugested, it works. Thnx.

Would someone be kind enough to confirm whether this package includes a model? Or is is simply a superb panel which was to be payware, but has now been released as freeware for use with models such as Mike Stones Tristar?

If you go to the OMWINGS website it shows that this is for Mike Stones's L1011 model, which can be downloaded from that site. Also, a Delta repaint by Chris Alevritis is available there.Alex M.

I've been sloppy in referring to this as "OMWINGS" L1011 Tristar. Omwings is the site for Oliver Moser, who designed the panel/gauges (http://www.omwings.com/TriStar.htm). The original model is by Mike Stone (http://www.pmstone.com/), and is downloadable at Omwings as well as at Mike's site. My apologies to Mike. There is also a Delta texture at the Omwings site, by Chris Alevritis. Other textures are available elsewhere. I found quite a few at http://www.gjsmith.com/Textures/l1011.htmObviously, the manuals I have translated into English are specifically for Oliver Moser's panel, not Mike Stone's L1011.Hope this clears up any confusion.Alex M.
