Aeroworx/FFS Beechcraft Super Kingair 200

I know the website is down right now due to the heavy traffic. When you do get a chance to purchase this aircraft, do it! This is a twin turboprop that is on the same level of quality and detail as the PMDG 737. (And believe me, that statement doesn't come lightly from me)Great job guys! Now all I need is the Flight1 ATR to round out my stable and I'll be all set:-jumpy

If ya get a chance, can you grace the screenshots forum with some shots of her? I'd love to see shots from in the cabin, the VC, etc...I remember when Aeroworx first mentioned this product I made a few suggestions and they were very nicely taken into account. I also remember that seems an eternity ago--meaning they worked long and hard on this project...-John

Tis a nice airplane. Just the sort of thing to make die-hard simmers settle in for long sessions of flying. I'm having problems with the Settings page, and a couple other minor glitches (the U.S. version is seen as N109GE, but ATC calls it "H"109GE? Are the Torquemeters supposed to show "0" at cruise?). I'm also concerned about the pitch sensitivity in cruise, which given my flight control hardware should be much smoother. This is really as real as it gets given current hardware/software technologies. The 90 minute adventure in purchasing/downloading has been worth it to me.Word to the wise... the EFIS must be registered before it will work :-( . There is a gajillion long reg number that must be input into the reg screen... best to copy and paste that from your e-mail before going into the sim.Now I'm back to the POH, a must read if one wishes to get the most from this airplane.Greg

Yep, this one is going to take some work! :) After crashing it three times, I decided I better download the POH and read it. I like the option of wear and maintenance, makes it that much more realistic. It's a very nice package overall.Jim

>When you do get a chance to purchase this aircraft,>do it! This is a twin turboprop that is on the same level of>quality and detail as the PMDG 737.I completely agree, I am amazed by the quality of this package, heck I even think that 30 bucks for it is too cheap (as I thought the same with the Meridian). The level of detail (model wise and simulation wise) is incredible. The copilot panel (smooth analog gauges finally!!!!) is incredible, the captain panel, the subpanels, 2D views bitmap, outside model (no issues with the texture loading as some other payware GA planes I have), flight dynamics, damaging modeling (excellent decision to implement it) and everything I can think of at this time is of the best quality I've seen, I have the Meridian and PMDG's 7's and this B200 fits perfectly in my TOP QUALITY HANGAR, very very very well done Aeroworx, congrats for an excellent job. It's the perfect example that when you really want to do something well, you can do it if you are really comitted to, hint for some payware developers! ;-)Carlos.

Im holding back waiting for the Saab 340 :D

George: Thanks for the review. One question. Is the autopilot default or custom? It's not a deal-killer if it is default, but it's an "automatic" if it is more refined, especially in regard to localiser and altitude holds. K

Hey Greg. You said the torque meter is at 0? I believe you do not have your inverter on, since the torque meter in the real plane is AC powered and therefore will not work if your inverter is not on.KAYDUB, if you are asking if this autopilot is good? Well visually speaking it is what you would be looking at in the real king air and operates like it as well.

"Hey Greg. You said the torque meter is at 0? I figured that out a couple hours ago... still much reading and familiarization required. :-) Greg

I am on my second flight of the night KOMA-KEGE. She is very nice!FYI, the Performance Manual with all the charts is due out tonight from Aeroworx.Regards,Trevor
