August 13, 201213 yr It will be a great time saver if each of the new products is shipped with a standard EZDoc settings file. EZDoc users could then modify it to their liking. Will this happen? Cheers, Richard Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
August 13, 201213 yr Unlikely. It's another manufacturer's product. More likely is what happened with the NGX..... Brian released his file and most used that AS A STARTING POINT and then tailored it to our individual tastes. My opinion- and you know what they say about opinions..... Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
August 13, 201213 yr Author Hi Carl! You have a good point Regards, Richard Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
August 13, 201213 yr Richard- EZCA can have a learning curve but once mastered it is (IMHO) indispensable for FSX. The developer has suggested version 2 will be out later this year..... I'm looking forward to that... The previews are fantastic. I posted a link to some excellent videos on setting up EZCA in a thread in the NGX Forum. You might take a look.... Unlike most of the utter rubbish (FSX Videos) on You Tube, these are actually accurate/useful. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/379033-help-with-ezca-and-the-pmdg-737/ Good to hear from you..... August 13, 201213 yr Author Carl, As EZDoc V2 is due later this year, I shall expect its set-up to be a little different/easier. Let's see how easy that will be be. Regards, Richard Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
August 13, 201213 yr I wouldn't expect anything easier from v2. The developer already stated the user interface won't be changed, just the functionality. AJ Pongress
August 15, 201213 yr EZCA is what made using the VC practical in FSX if you don't have track IR. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
August 17, 201213 yr EZCA is what made using the VC practical in FSX if you don't have track IR. I heard they can be used together, though. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
August 17, 201213 yr I'd throw out my computer without Ez+Track... after a couple days to "train" your eyes and head to work independently, it's simply stunning. One of my nephews dropped in on me flying around once... and thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. As was stated.. EzDok wont be easier round 2.... In fact.. I'm absolutely sure... the name "EZ"-dok is an inside joke with the programmers. I found a beech ball a good substitute to the wife, kids, and dog... when the need to punch something occurs during camera/effects set up on a new plane.
August 17, 201213 yr Author I used to be a TrackIR user but sold it. I found that, with a 4-screen rig, my PMDG B744 was not possible to use. As soon as I needed to look at a screen other than the main cockpit panel, the views became chaotic. So now I am pinning my future use of PMDG aircraft on EZCA.
