I'm trying to install NGX 737 6700 but i'm getting a version 1.00.3116 or later required message. I tried to install the PMDG 737 6700 NGX SP1b update but that says no version of PMDG 737 6700 NGX RTM is installed. This requires a previous version of the application be installed.

 

I purchased my NGX 6700 & 8900 on the 22.07.12 & installed it just fine but now i want to reinstall them both on a seperate SSD & i'm getting these errors. I did uninstall the 6700 & 8900 before i tried reinstalling.

 

Any ideas?

Hi Si,

you need to install the NGX800/900 SP1 (you'll find the link in the NGX800/900 product page) to "prime" it for the installation of tje 600/700 expansion. I think you're trying to imstall tje SP for tje 600/700 expansion and since is not there the installer cannot update it lol

The NGX 737 8900 is the base pack and you need to install SP1C for the base pack (which is the latest service pack, and not the SP1B) prior to installing the 6700 expansion. Then update the expansion pack with it's respective SP1C update.

No probs mate, you'll love the 600/700, some impressive short takeoffs/landings and the -600 litterally climbs like a sputnik!

Hi guys, and girls.....I am a little confused, and probably a little dumb....I just bought pmdg 6700 to install.....then promted to update with patches....I've tried to load sp1c for the 7378900 but i get a cannot detect the program notice...now i do have pmdg 800/900 in fsx....so why it doesnt load sp1c i have no idea....consequently im unable to load 737600/700...any idea's apart from uninstalling 800/900 and starting again

Try the Flight1 Registry Repair tool (a google search will bring you right to it) and see if that helps.  That should correct any registry errors, you should then be able to install SP1c, and then the 600/700.

Hi there...tried the repair tool....no luck I'm afraid.......still unable to load sp1c.......it says that Pmdg 8900 is not in the system......and yet it is.........thanks anyway.....

No.  The service packs are cumulative, so they have everything in them.
