September 15, 201213 yr I hope that with the release of the B777 we shall receive comprehensive configuration recommendations that enable us to quickly establish the best FSX and PMDG B777 runtime parameters for a modern PC. September 15, 201213 yr I guess he means the performance within FSX. They already did some recommendations for the NGX in its manual. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

September 16, 201213 yr Luke, You are one eager beaver!! I don't know how you would have been reacting this time last year lol If I'm on my Laptop, Avsim is always there in a tab. This time last year I was just starting to follow the Captain Sim 777 - Shhhhhh  Had no idea PMDG had one planned until March! - Luke Pabari
September 18, 201213 yr Richard, Given the guides readily available right here and on the other forums --not to mention the NGX Intro Manual-- I hope Ryan doesn't spend valuable tutorial writing time covering another performance guide. It took half a year to get a great tutorial for the "noobies" on the NGX. Just my thoughts. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
September 27, 201213 yr Everybody knows that the gorgeous PMDG products are obliged to run over an ancient platform, FSX, which is a single core CPU based software. There is no better configuration for FSX than a one with a high number of Ghz , something in between 4 and 5Ghz would be appropriate. Thanks to Microsoft, M$ Flight is dead and the source code will be deleted for ever so we have to use FSX until a software house will decide to produce a new flight simulator. That software house, if the product will be good, will be the richest software house ever seen in the flight simulation scenario. P.S: caugh... caugh.. PMDG..how about to produce a flight simulator ? B)
September 27, 201213 yr I agree with Richard and Mark. PMDG produces wonderful things, a miracle by the age of the platform base. There is light at the end tunnel, but it is still a very delicate situation. I hope that reason and common sense prevail.
