ARMI PROJECT - VTBS SUVARNABHUMI INTL came out yesterday, and I'd like to get it but the review concerns me on Simmarket, issues with AI traffic and sinking into the ground etc.

Has anyone tried this with Ultimate traffic 2, and with terrain mesh products - with no issues?

 

I'm looking for a better review than the short one on the simmarket product page I guess.

I have the previous 2010 version, and never had any problems with it. Good airport, good framerates. Only you have to be a little careful when taxiing, not to deviate too far from the taxiway centerlines in order not to drop into the many water canals adjacent to the taxiways.

 

Also I don't remember noticing any problems with AI traffic - however I don't use UT2 but WoAI instead.

 

I'll try to do another flight from there in the following days, and get back to you.

 

 

 

PS: I downloaded the free upgrade I'm entitled to, from my SimMarket account yesterday. But I haven't installed it yet.

Just started a flight on VTBS 2010.

 

Taxiing normally, and many WoAI aircraft using the airport, all three gates, taxiways and runways.

I have the 2010 version and the only thing i really dislike is how the scenery items pop up when i approach them. All the rest seems fine to me, but i don't have them as a high rated developer.

I have used ver 2 with UT2 traffic and have had no problems. 25-28 FPS.

Version 2 seems fine. I use UT2.

I have this addon now too and I am very happy with it.

Long time I waited for a really good version of VTBS.

My girlfriend is thai, so VTBS Airport is the most important for me in FSX of course
