Couldn't Activate - Not your Average Case - HELP!

Featured Replies

I know this comes up a lot, but nothing works so I am curious if anyone can help... PMDG is taking too long to respond to my 3rd ticket. K so the activation box never even comes up at all. Here's what I tried:

Setting FlexNet licensing service to on, manual position startup.

Verifying that I have FSX Acceleration

Completely reinstalling both FSX Acceleration and PMDG 737NGX

I verified that all Windows services were set to normal, turned on.

Now I'm out of options, I have a supposed PMDG technical advisor logging onto my computer via TeamViewer, but I want to know if people have any other methods of getting it to work, as they told me this yesterday morning, and I have received no service to this time (1:10p GMT-7(Mountain Time))

Please also note I already have 2 tickets and so that has gotten me nowhere, any advice on how to get the ACTIVATION BOX TO EVEN JUST APPEAR would be helpful, as I am out of options.

Alt-tabing around to find the box may be a solution. Perhaps it's popped-under a couple of windows.

Jeremy did you actually launch FSX? I believe this is where you will find activation window.

Yes I launched FSX and so nothing came up... I tried all that stuff... lemme check the alt+tab thing.

It was not hidden via alt+tab or anything, still searching for answers :)

Try choosing the NGX and the window should appear.

I know I already tried that, it just never comes up, and I can't figure out what is causing this to happen.

Yes, I'm sorry about that. I didn't want to give away my real name - thus I put Jack Carolina. I just learned earlier today though that they can find your name in their systems (PMDG's) to help you more, therefore I put my actual name so that way I could actually have a better link to help I need. I just didn't think that I needed my real name up until today. Sorry :(

You're just going to have to wait for PMDG to figure out whose who and what's what.

Aside from downloading a new installer nothing much I can think of. Good luck.

Reinstall from scratch? FSX>any/all service packs>NGX>any/all NGX service packs? If it still doesn't work, then TeamViewer with someone from PMDG? I could be wrong. But at this point I'd be trying a clean everything. Just my 2 cents....
