October 3, 201213 yr Author I would get the 182Q, but my aircraft will be glass cockpit, that is why I went with the 182T. ORBX- the way to go Sincerely, John McGee
October 3, 201213 yr If you want a G1000 equipped Cessna, close to real life, you really should consider the Flight1 C182T. If you are not going to generate or modify flightplans on the G1000, the Carenado version will do the job, but for serious flying, it is far from complete.. On the other hand, if fps is your concern, the Flight1 version is even tougher on performance than the Carenado one.. so, you'll have to balance realism and function vs performance. Bert
October 3, 201213 yr Author Yeah, I think the Carenado will cut it. I would more just like to be familiar with the G1000 and navigation with it. I don't need absolutely 100% accuracy, I will pick that up in the real aircraft, as I don't think that it would be fully beneficial to try and do that in FSX, imho.
