Panel Wide View

Featured Replies

Hi,

Please tell me what I have exactly to do to view the correct wide screen panel. I only see a 4:3 panel which is only left and right side extended. So the round displays look like an egg. I fixed the fsx.cfg and have an wide screen monitor with 1920:1080 pixels and have this adjusted in fsx.

Thank you very much and kind regards

Peter Timm

If you are looking at a 2d panel, it will be distorted on a wide screen monitor.

The virtual panel should be OK. And that is what most folks use in FSX.

Only remedy, I know of, is to grab the right and left panel edges with a mouse and drag them

towards the middle. That will leave you with black strips on either side - so that is the trade-off..

I used the "flusifix" tool for that. One click and it worked for me.

I would give it a try  .

I thought that the NGX 2D panel has always been widescreen?

Hmmm I use my 2d with no problems at all at 1920 x 1200.

OOPs, missed that this is a PMDG NGX question... in that case there may be a widescreen option..

Most FSX aircraft do not provide that.

Hi Peter,

On page 13 of the PMDG-737NGX-Introduction it says add WideViewAspect=True to the [DISPLAY] section of fsx.cfg

...ok, thank you very much for your explanation. But they didn´t solve the problem.
