October 10, 201213 yr I have: Saiteck Pro rudder peddles, Yoke, Quadrant.. Windows 7 64 Ultima I7 processor with 6GB memory The problem is the "Brake" on the lower left of the screen keeps coming on. I've tried adjusting the rudder peddles sensitivity and null zone but no help. I remember this being an old problem just don't remember the fix. Thanks to all who reply. Bill
October 10, 201213 yr In your fsx.cfg under [Display] InfoBrakesEnable=False InfoParkingBrakesEnable=True In the above case, "InfoBrakesEnable=False" will prevent the "Brake" message, and for "InfoParkingBrakesEnable=True" - the "Parking Brakes On" message will show. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
October 10, 201213 yr you may have to reverse the brake axis of your pedals if controlled within FSX. I had to do this with my CH pedals until I started calibrating them through FSUIPC because the brakes would be "on" until I pressed the pedal down. Thanks for listening, Kail
October 10, 201213 yr you may have to reverse the brake axis Yepper. Ive had to rev. in FSUIPC also for individual brakes. Having the brakes come on half way down the runway, when using the rudder pedals or toe brakes, can be very annoying. ! In a tail dragger, you do donuts all the way down the rwy.
October 10, 201213 yr I have an issue where the brake message does not show, but some addons take over 50% N1 just to taxi. I have CH pedals. So the only thing that has worked is disabling toe brakes. I've tried the CD case under the pedals, I've tried adjusting the null zones, and downloading the CH calibration program. Only thing I have not tried was FSUIPC toe configs... The FSUIPC method doesn't seem inutuitive... Does FSUIPC allow the toe brakes to work in FSX? "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
October 11, 201213 yr Does FSUIPC allow the toe brakes to work in FSX? Yes very well, I have FSX/P3D controllers disabled and assign all axis and calibration through FSUIPC. Including individual/toe brakes. FSUIPC allows much more flexibility in settings and calibration. + 100's of switch and keyboards assignments.

I have the Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals - YES, the 'toe brakes' work after being Calibrated via FSUIPC 4.8x. You must reverse their operation (the Saiteks) and you must also create a null zone at both ends of the pedal travel so they don't lock up. Works great, if you need further help,. I can post my FSUiPC ini file which shows the calibration settings for the Saitek rudder (with toe brakes) as well as the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog (which I use calibrated via FSUIPC and certain other functions (like reverse thrusters) assigned via Linda LUA. Within FSX itself, all control surfaces are DISABLED, and they are handled by FSUIPC (Registered) instead. R.
