October 28, 201213 yr open it with notepad Thank you for downloading and installing the Frosty Software Texture Max Load Editor. This application was designed to make the use of High Definition and Super High Definition textures easier. Features: - Five resolutions to choose from - Service to stop the resolution changing back to default - Run when Windows starts - Run when Flight Simulator starts - Automatically start the service - Checks for updates - Compatible with all third party add-ons that use HD and SHD textures - Custom Graphical User Interface ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Known Issues: 1. Some third party applications may wipe the exe.xml entry that this application creates. This application will make sure that it enters the code correctly and will not wipe any other entries. REX 2.0 is known to disable the Texture Max Load Editor from starting up. 2. The custom controls were not compatible with larger DPI settings on some systems. The application will appear to be smaller if you use a larger DIP setting. This is so you can still use our custom controls. 3. Aero Shake is not compatible with the Texture Max Load Editor main window. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: Version 1.2 Build 190 - Initial Release Version 1.2 Build 195 - Patch to fix some small bugs Version 1.2 Build 196 - Small fixes with incorrect messages Version 1.2 Build 197 - Small bugfixes related to 64bit operating systems ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beta Testers: Adam Johnson Jonathan Karsh Justin Rider Orion Lyau ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Support Details: E-mail - [email protected] Frosty Software Website - http://www.frostysoftware.com Frosty Software Forums - http://forums.frostysoftware.com Real Deraps
October 28, 201213 yr That is not the exe.xml file. That is not the exe.xml file. Sorry. After downloading i have a zipped file. After unzipping this file, i got a folder named tml_installer in which i can find 2 "read me" texts and the tml_installer itself. If i right click on this tml-installer i only have one choice to open it. This the "open" choice. (no open it with... notepad or other). Sorry for my bad english. Hope you understand. Best regards. October 28, 201213 yr The airplane is literally empty with almost no fuel. A flight never taken in real operation. That is not a good comparison Yes, you are correct, but there are countless other clips on youtube demonstrating the nose up approach for a dc9/Md80 as a quick example; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do9eW6AlYi4. and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=XFddb3GegUU But I must apologise, as this is drifting away from the originators start thread - and I only really have an interest in the current DC 9 - I have moved on from the Super 80 as I never fly it anymore
October 29, 201213 yr On my PC the exe.xml file is here: C:\Users\vaughan\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX You mean this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>exe.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Name>UT2</Name> <Path>C:\FSX\\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic 2\UT2Services.exe</Path> <NewConsole>True</NewConsole> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> Thanks again. October 29, 201213 yr Ok,, Your exe.xml has been modified prior so there are no restrictions (permission) on getting it updated by other programs. Now, if you have a good tml installer it will add this into what you have: <Launch.Addon> <Name>Texture Max Load Editor</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>F:\Frosty Software\Texture Max Load Editor\tml.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
