Abacuspub .dll blocking P3D

Featured Replies

G'day all, has anyone managed to successfully install and fly the Abacuspub Premier edition aircraft in P3D? I modified the Prepar3D dll.xml in accordance with their web site instructions which prevented P3D from launching. The modification to the file is:

<Launch.Addon>

<Name>AbacusPremierCollection</Name>

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>

<Path>AbacusPremierCollectionFSX.dll</Path>

</Launch.Addon>

Thanks and cheers, Mac

Can anyone please provide a contact for Abacus Pub. I have tried their web site without success. Are they still in business? All attempted contacts have been ignored and yet I still receive "Newsletters".

Cheers, Mac

I installed their carrier product on my last computer and it destroyed my FSX install. I won't install anything from them again.

Abacus? Do people actually buy stuff from them?

Thank you gentlemen, I get the message. Is there another Pilatus PC-12 available other than Flight1? I am not doing very well getting service and advice from Flight1 either.

Cheers, Mac

Flight1 forbids use of their products in P3D!

Flight1 forbids use of their products in P3D!

**Chuckle** "Forbidding"" and "preventing" are two different words. Some of their products work just fine.

The IRIS Pilatus is excellent and works just fine in P3D.

Thank you Sir, I see a PC-9 on their web site. Is that the one you are referring to? I would prefer a PC-12 as that is the one I hope to fly in the RW one day. At least from the right hand seat.

Cheers, Mac

Yes that's the one. They had 3 or 4 models - don't recall if one ws a 12 and I am not near my flight system..

The law also "forbids" us going over the speed limit. Guess what? 95% of the drivers out there drive over the speed limit.

Does it make it right?

if you don't get a ticket, who cares other than those who have an anal obsession with rules.

Sure, and the day they get pulled over they are surprise as to why they got stoped, play by the rules and nobody will post something like Abacuspub .dll blocking P3D....or I can't install GEX since the new update.

To me hacking a product is not only not playing by the rules but it is knowingly breaking the rules, and any post showing how to do it should be deleted on the spot...period.

I think you missed the point. I was talking about Abacuspub and suddenly you are trying to apply Flight1 rules. Exactly when did Flight1 start selling Abacuspub software or making rules for Abacuspub? So kindly check your facts before being rude.

Cheers, Mac
