Is there a way to change cockpit pitot picture?

Yes ... you should be able to using a Graphics editor like GIMP, but remember, only YOU will see the new pilot's face (unless you give everyone else a copy of your edited texture file).

Depends, the pitot is one the outside of the aircraft and doesn't have a face, while the PILOT is on the inside and has a face, lol.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'm confused. Which sim are you referring to? Microsoft Flight, FS-9 or FSX? Please clarify.

I'm not sure if you can change them in Flight, but for the other two you probably could by using a good graphics program.

Thank you.

Hi Mark,

You will have to use a freeware program like DXTbmp to open the AC textures to find which sheet the faces are on. Then use a linked photo editor (setup in DXTbmp) to place new faces. Save the texture as "norm" in the photo-editor and then reload to DXTbmp and then "save."

That should do it. Hope this helps you...

Jeff

It appears this thread is in reference to FSX so I'm moving it to it's proper forum.
