November 25, 201213 yr When I press the Keyboard H key the Prop-Anti ice switch on the panel toggles ON. Is this correct? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
November 25, 201213 yr I do not have the MilViz B55, but I think the B55 they modeled has fuel injected engines, so the only anti-icing systems it would need would be prop and wing/tail surface anti-icing. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Works that way on mine as well, thought I'd never noticed, because... if you have the latest patch, there's no need to turn on carb heat on the B55 as the plane automatically works around the "carb heat bug". Stan, if you weren't aware there's a long standing issue in FSX with carb icing still occurring on fuel injected planes despite them obviously having no carburetor. The workaround has always been to turn the (non-existent) carb heat on with the "h" key for the (non-existent) carb. :-) That workaround is not needed for the B55. Scott

December 15, 201312 yr I just bought the Baron from Milviz in the recent sale.. I assume since it came from them it is the latest SP?... Two flights this weekend, I lost manifold pressure and had to emergency land. Assume Carb Heat was the issue.. before my flight this afternoon, I hit H and my flight went ok. I would prefer a switch if it's not patched.. but wondering how to tell if it is patched. Sorry first post.. been lurking a lil bit since I joined.. Great site!
