Does anyone know if the mytraffic products will work with p3d.

Thanks Peter

Been using MyTraffic3D for about three months...works just fine. I'm very pleased with the product.

I think you Mean TrafficX 360 not MyTraffic 360, cause dont think Mytraffic series has something called 360, unless i missed the product.

The Mytraffic series has 5.4b and Mytraffic2013 ehich is latest of the series.

I am currently using Mytraffic 5.4b with P3D no issues spotted so far, just installed 2 days ago.

Make sure to use P3dmigration tool, also google Mytraffic(your version) P3D.

Also have been using MyTraffic for about three months in P3D. No problems at all. Excellent program.

Cheers, Mac

There is a version of MyTraffic X specifically made to work with Prepar3ed, its called MyTraffic 3D.

For clarity the product "Traffic 360" has nothing at all to do with MyTraffic X (notice the spelling and no space between the words My and Traffic), Traffic 360 is made by Just Flight and its an upgrade to their previous product called Traffic X.

Yes traffic developers like the use of the words Traffic and X, lol.

Cheers, Andy.

Thanks guys

Im going to try to get 5.4b to work

Im simply going to run the 5.4b installer with the migration tool

Hopefully i can figure out how to get the traffic toolbox to work from the sdk

While im here i might as well ask if someone can point me to the fsinn instructions so i can get online/vatsim with p3d

Thanks

Peter

It should work, but I found the switch to MT3D with its P3D installer just fine. Sure there are some AI traffic utilities or the airline by airline AI (like World of AI with its FSX converter) you can get through the websites that provide more accurate aircraft, but I can tolerate a little imperfection and I find the P3D version suitable for my needs.

Installed seemed to work but aircraft are not moving on the ground, I cant recall how to reset the timer so that the delay is minimal

??

Thoughts Pete

I can't recall setting any timer. But if I remenber accurately it takes up to 15 minutes after startup for AI traffic to get going, on the ground and in the air. With MyTraffic3D I also make sure I turn the default AI off, for some reason Soar and Pacifica and .... get my goat. I take it you have done the full bit with the configurator, because without that, nothing.

Ported over 5.4b using estonia migrator. Everything working as per FSX including aircraft on the ground.

Next big test is Pro Flight Emulator!

Oh and Pete make sure that the MyTraffic entry is there in your cfg Main section. Also it is possible in your scenery, world, scenery folder to end up with two contradictory entries that read Traffic.bgl, and Traffic. bglbak. Make certain you only have the latter or Soar and Pacifica are with you forever.
