Aerosoft is providing a light discount of 20% on many boxed products in celebration of the winter holidays through Monday, 17 December. Discounted products include Aerosoft scenery, PMDG, and X-Plane boxed products.

If they are indeed the most popular items, then it would make sense to boost popularity further by discounting them, though Aerosoft discounts seem to be less than those of other major flight simulator stores.

I suppose, but if something doesn't sell quite as well on its own, wouldn't you want to put that on sale to make it sell better? What do I know.

Even odder that recently it has been boxed versions, not download.

20%? ho-hum! Doesn't excite me! And gotta pay shipping? There goes the discount. Give me 40% to 50% off and I start buying!

Agreed, that is no sale.

 

J&R regular price is only off by a buck from those "discounts" (and they have free shipping to boot and it's $5 to ship to Canada)
