Just to post something that might help the waiting process. The PFPX team has released info on what aircrafts that will (most likely) have custom profiles available on release. I guess this means real world fuel burn (and possibly support for cost index).

Here is the list I collected (, but more up to date info can be found on the PFPX site/forum):

A318-111
A319-111
A320-211
A321 (-111, -211, -212)
A330-203
A340 (-311, -313)

B727-200
B737 (-700, -800, -900)
B474-400
B757 (-200, -300)
B767 (-200, -300)
B777 (-232, -300)

Hello Rich,

I feel your pain. I would like to see JS41, MD88, E135 (or E145), E170 (or E190), Dash 8-400, ...

The rumour has it that customers are able to create their own performance files. I would guess/hope that more profiles will be made available after the release.

Jarkko,

this is not a rumour we already had that discussion on PFPX support forum ...

take if for granted any customers with the datas can create any profil on any aircraft they wish ...

Hello!

If by "we", you mean that, you and me had the discussion, then I'm sorry to say that I'm unable to connect your alias to the PFPX support forum.

In any case, there are two reasons why I called it a rumour instead a fact:

1) I didn't want to sound like I was promoting PFPX, because I am only a future customer. Not anyway connected to the development team. The info I have read and seen might not be correct.

2) I have spent the last two years collecting performance and fuel burn data from all of my FSX flight. I'm still unaware if I'm able to create aircraft profile for PFPX as it was mentioned that one engine out performace figures might be required to create a profile.

I hope this clears up my original post.

Hello,

im Philippe one of the beta tester of the team and if you check the last messages exchanged on the PFPX public forum you ll find out who i'm ....

as I said you ll be able to create from .txt data (you ll need to type them)  any profiles but on my point of view with real data It will be better.  again only my opinion.

there is no requirement for one engine out data to have a perfect working profile for sure .... it 's helping only if you think about EROPS ETOPS data and performance.

hope this help and of course this is already what I wrote.

all the best.

Phil

Hello Philippe :) I alway thought that you were from France! Now that I see you are from Canada, I can make the connection. Sorry about missing a vital clue.

I have yet to do a flight requiring ETOPS so it is nice to know that one engine out data isn't mandatory for custom profiles.

Thanks!
