December 28, 201213 yr Thanks for the review Rob, I was looking forward to your thoughts on this very good upgrade to the original bird. I'm relieved to hear that you feel the FBW is a little sluggish. It seems like there is a null zone before the stick responds (very quickly) after its passed that. I still prefer the Airsimmer FBW, but this is very close, and its reliable (it holds pitch perfectly etc) which is what counts. To compare I dug out my old Thrustmaster T.1600M which I hadn't used since flying the Wilco (I use a standard X52 for all other aircraft) and have had excellent results with that. A somewhat stiff but very precise stick, but a big improvement over the X52, on this particular aircraft at least. Thanks again for your thoughts. Kind Regards Richard Wells

December 29, 201213 yr Hi, Nice post. but I must correct certain incorrect points you said. Not sure where you are seeing this, I definitely have that both on the ECAM and external model. Be more specific, just saying its completely wrong but without reasons. Ah wait, if you mean the ELAC1 will take over ELAC2 that kind of stuff, then no, we dont simulate that, simply because IRL, you dont ever switch those thing off. Never our intention to simulate IRS. Many users just like the ALIGN IRS with the red displays so we done that. As long as you are not a real world pilot, I wont trust this, even in a simulator, simply because nobody actually ever experienced using such a function aside from test pilots. Unless you are willing to go on a REAL airbus and try this out, I would be glad to take feedback from you. False, its maximum climb thrust and THRUST IDLE, I dont know where you are seeing this again. Well, thank you. Hope you enjoy your stay.
