December 24, 201213 yr Hello guys, currently I' am playing fs9 on p4 3.2, radeon 6600. I can not afford nothing better now, my thinkpad r61 died. I have found program once , that kills all processes, and give FS a priority. I can not find the program again, so please help me. I was searching internet for 1 hour, and no luck. Merry christmas, regards
December 24, 201213 yr Merry Christmas to you too kalas1988. Your present is right here in the AVSIM library:- FSAutoStart v1.1 by Ken Salter
December 24, 201213 yr FSAutostart, yes this is the one Thank you, and it's geforce 6600, I have, used to be the best in it's days Merry Christmas, all the best
December 27, 201213 yr Commercial Member I wouldn't hold your breath over process priority; performance results are inconclusive at best. And if you go too high with process priority, you increase the risk of FS9 crashing. Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
December 27, 201213 yr Merry Christmas to you too kalas1988. Your present is right here in the AVSIM library:- FSAutoStart v1.1 by Ken Salter Doesn't work in Windows 7 unless someone knows of a fix. Can't find one in Google and Ken Salter's website no longer exists. David
December 27, 201213 yr Take 2 David. fslaunch.zip, also available in AVSIM's library, seems to provide similar functionality. From the Readme :- FSLaunch is used to start MS Flight Simulator with preset environment conditions: - Close dispensable programs to enhance FS performance - Start additional add-on programs - Set FS configuration (pausing on focus change) - Start Flight Simulator (optionally with a stored flight) - After closing FS: Close FS add-on programs and restart closed programs Haven't used this one yet David, and I use XP, so I hope this works for you. Happy New Year.
December 27, 201213 yr For either utility it might help to set up the shortcut to start them with a property set to run as admin. This is a program level access, not a user level access.
