January 7, 201313 yr One method of converting any flight plan to a PMDG-compatible format is to: 1. Copy the route, preferably in the format WAYPOINT AIRWAY WAYPOINT AIRWAY, etc. 2. Go to SimRoutes and enter your flight information in the appropriate fields. You do not need to select any SIDs or STARs. 3. Click Generate Route. Confirm that the generated route is correct, and select PMDG from the export file format list. 4. Click Download Flightplan, and save the file to your PMDG FLIGHTPLANS folder. 5. To retrieve your flight plan from within the FMC, enter the file name of the SimRoutes flight plan into the company routes field in the FMC.
January 7, 201313 yr Pmdg has stated after latest patch it will not import flt plans, I have found it works sometimes and sometimes not. Rich Sennett
January 7, 201313 yr Commercial Member Pmdg has stated after latest patch it will not import flt plans That's not entirely correct. It will, but it will scrub SID/STARS if you've included them. Kyle Rodgers
January 7, 201313 yr Since it is a pln file try and copying it to MyDocuments\Flight Simulator X. Also I have found that the name also matters for the MD11 to see it, for example it will not see KLAXKJFK, but it will see KLAX-KJFK, no clue why, but that is how it is on my install. I have the same problem with the Coolsky MD80 Pro. Rod Storer
