Here is super gorgeous Nordic flight with beautiful skies from ENBR Bergen Airport which is the second-busiest airport in Norway located at Flesland in city of Bergen in Hordaland county of Norway to EFRO Rovaniemi Airport better known as official Santa Claus airport located in six miles north of city center of Rovaniemi, Finland.

Holding short of runway 17 waiting for clearance from the airport control tower controllers for take off

 

 

Clearance for take off had granted as the plane entered into the runway to start take off run via ROXET departure

 

 

Airborne on climb to FL350 before executing ROXET departure

 

 

Making left 180 degree turn toward ROXET during climb to FL350

If he want to fly historic route, SAS had in it's fleet 747-200 pax and Cargo , have a look on airliners

Yeah, but looking at these pics he's flying a passenger plane, and flying from Bergen to Rovaniemi. Not the correct plane and not a historic flight :rolleyes: But hey, it's FSX so everything is possible but would never had happend in real life... :lol:

Simbio is correct. SAS did operate 747Combi. Look at the side cargo door in back of the plane. And I was flying charter route.

 

The livery was real life.

No problem. In addition to visibility of side cargo door on left side of the plane, notice why the passenger windows are closed in rear of the plane but passenger windows are lighted in front of the wings. It is COMBI.

 

And you know that all airlines including SAS flew tons tons of charter flights from Europe to EFRO during Christmas holidays.

Intresting info Aharon had no idea, where did you get that livery and is it for the PMDG 747? I might have to do some historical flights myself :smile:

It is good old fashioned POSKY 747 version 4 and the livery can be found on avsim or flightsim.
