January 25, 201313 yr This thing is still a long way from being good. On my first attept, I had isues with the utopilot, autothrootle, mcp displays, nav display, and flight director. The radios for comm seemed dead, I coulrnt change the map distance, and the tcas is not functional. Will wait and see what happens with updates, but expectations are low as of now. Shane Gavin

You need to check that you did a good install because I don't have any of those problems. If it were bugs in the sim, everyone would be experiencing it, not just some. I would uninstall it completely, then re-install it making sure you install as Admin and your anti-virus if off. Then restart your computer, start FSX and select 'Load' and "777 Ready for Takeoff". I went ahead and made the flight from KSEA to KSFO. Everything worked fine for me, then I made another flight from KATL to KCLE and it still worked good. Robert Yunque
January 25, 201313 yr Ha, ha..That's what I think too. :sorry: I think audiohavoc is Denzel Washington  a bit off topic here but I just saw this movie last night, it was super and Denzel is awesome!http://youtu.be/BjZPABRjSFc
January 25, 201313 yr I doub pilot error is the problem. I have been simming a long time and I know the MD11, 747, 757, 767, and 737 operations very well. Could be an install error, but I installed as admin, no anti virus, did a clean uninstall of the 0.9 version, restarted before using, etc. And the spelling errors in my post are due to posting from a mobile device. January 25, 201313 yr People constantly pick Captain Sim to bash, and he continues to sell good products The CS 757 that I paid for is to this date, unfinished. How does this translate in any way to "good product" ? As far as I am concerned, captainsim continues to sell unfinished products. Bashing is justified, if you want to use the term 'bash.' I say it's criticism for a paid product. I own it, I get to criticize it. Sent from my iPhone...typing errors imminent AJ Pongress

There are some things that don't work 100%, but if you go to Captain Sim's forum and check it out, you will get an idea of what those things are. No one is questioning your ability. I have to install the AXE several times before I got it to work right. Robert Yunque
January 25, 201313 yr I have to install the AXE several times before I got it to work right. agreed, todays release of version 1.4 was the first time I flew the Airbus since release, the throttle was always stuck on my setup but today it worked, thank you 1.4 update.

Are you able to change the nav display range and comm frequencies? Shane Gavin
January 25, 201313 yr True, but some of the issues may not be actual errors/installation issues. Are you able to change the nav display range and comm frequencies? Yes. I'm having no problem with either. Robert Yunque
January 25, 201313 yr Yes. I'm having no problem with either. Thanks, that tells me for certain that there was some sort of install error. I will try installing again. Shane Gavin

You knew that it was a "Beta" product when you bought it. That was excessively clear on the Captain Sim forum. This 1.0 is a good product that will probably get some service packs and patches, just like Aerosoft is doing with the AXE right now. I'm enjoying the CST7 a lot. Constructive criticism is one thing, but bashing is simply childish and immature. Robert Yunque

I addressed what you said about their products being "good" when it's really relative to the owner. To me, something isn't good if its not in a finished state, the same state their 757 is in as well as their 777 from what I've read despite the product now being called 1.0 (a whole number that references completeness). How come you didn't respond to that point? Sent from my iPhone...typing errors imminent AJ Pongress
