It's default setting is "automatic" in windows services. If so should I disable it from msconfig or services.msc? I assume it's the interface between your nVidia graphics card and the rest of your system, so disabling it might take you back to a standard VGA adapter or something along those lines. July 20, 201411 yr yes you can disable it just fine. You wont be able to access the NVCP but if you have no use for it or the settings within, by all means.
