February 14, 201313 yr Author OK, bought and ready to install, just one question. The Rhett Browning files that I need to delete, are they KSTL_afx_rb.BGL and KSTL_cvx_rb.BGL?? Sorry to be so much trouble but I want this to go well. Thanks Steve Steve Corzine
February 15, 201313 yr I added this one to my scenery collection but still have the same issue I had when using the Rhett Browning scenery Rwy that added 11/29. I have made a separate post about it at http://forum.avsim.n...-a-fix-to-this/ Is anyone else noticing this issue with highway vehicle traffic crossing 11/29 at the point where Lindberg Blvd passes underneath the runway? In the scenery library I already have the Taxi2Go scenery above UTX and above the Newport St Louis city scenery. In the scenery library I already have the Taxi2Go scenery above UTX and above the Newport St Louis city scenery. I have the Taxi2gate and Newport scenery. I turned my vehicles slider up to 100%. There are absolutely no cars even trying to go in the direction of the tunnel and the other roads inside the airport. They are all on the Interstate (or the main highway that runs parallel). Somehow you have a bgl that is directing traffic to this tunnel and, with Taxi2go KSTL and the Newport photoscenery this is not happening. I looked at your link and this is definitely not happening with my installation. I have my installation the same as yours. It's just not there so this is the reason why no one wants to fix it. I have a feeling you have a bgl leftover in your Addon Scenery folder or within the Taxi2go KSTL scenery folder that should not be there. The only place where I've seen the tunnel system really working in scenery is the FTX/Orbx KSEA where the vehicles to to the tunnel entrance and disappear and you see vehicles coming out the other side. February 16, 201313 yr Thanks Jim, Are you using Ultimate Terrain (UTX)? I believe it is generating the roads and traffic. In any case the highway vehicles in my case are unmistakable. Another member here at Avsim has provide me with a file that should address the issue. If so he may upload it to the Avsim libraries. Thanks for responding. February 16, 201313 yr Are you using Ultimate Terrain (UTX)? I have the program but never reinstalled it. Good luck in finding a solution. February 16, 201313 yr I have the program but never reinstalled it. Good luck in finding a solution. Looks like UTX creates the issue. Another member here has provided me with a .bgl file that hides the traffic for a "QMID 15" square over the affected area and that has eliminated the issue, though for a bit larger area than just the tunnel in question. I believe he will upload it here to the Avsim library for use by others that use the Taxi2Gate KSTL and UTX. I do like this Taxi2Gate KSTL. Looks great and true to life! February 16, 201313 yr File has been uploaded to the Avsim Scenery Library and should show up tomorrow? I don't have the scenery, so I'm hoping it didn't wipe out the traffic down to the Arch???
February 16, 201313 yr I do like this Taxi2Gate KSTL. Looks great and true to life! I like it too. If you want working jetways though, you'll have to pay a bit more for AES credits but that seems to be the trend in airport sceneries these days and it's only a few dollars more. Glad you were able to find the solution. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! Glad you were able to find the solution. Best regards, Jim Speaking of which........Does AES have much FPS impact? Seems cheap enough for what it does so I'm serious considering it. Are the push back and marshaling compatable with PMDG 737NGX........ What do ya think Jim, or anyone else who cares to comment? Steve Steve Corzine
February 17, 201313 yr I don't see any impact on FPS so it most be negligible. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! The blockage appears to be a bit wider than the square in your image, but not an issue. At least I can use the runway now without fear of liability of hitting some family on their way to Wally World! Speaking of the Gateway Arch, try the "thru-the-arch" approach to 29.......just make sure you tape up the N numbers first!! Steve Steve Corzine
February 23, 201313 yr Author Well, after using the airport for several days I'm quite happy with it and have had no issues. BUT, the static jetways do detract from the immersion factor to the point that I need to do something about it. Sooo....let me see if I understand this.......if I get AES and purchase credits does this make the existing jetways operable or does AES add its own jetways (among other niceities) to the scenery? Thanks, Steve Steve Corzine
February 23, 201313 yr Yes, it will make the existing jetways dock with your aircraft, and you'll have a marshaller on the ground, pushback truck, cargo vehicles, as well as other selectable service vehicles such as food trucks, cleaning van, fuel truck, etc.
