Enhanced Runways HD By FlyJSim 1.20

Featured Replies

Is there a way to install these without wiping out the default textures, such as putting them in the "Custom Scenery" directory?

Does anyone have a copy of these textures?  I can't seem to download them anymore....

Disregard, the link is back up

Download worked, but I'm getting an XP10 error: some textures cannot be loaded.  When I check in game, there's no textures like in the pics... just gray.

Am I missing something?

Is there any other download site? I've been trying to register on x-plane.org for a couple of months and still can't get a response from them:(

Ryan, what is  your opinion on the textures? I am assuming that these textures will not replace any custom scenery is this correct?

Thanks

Bob

Officially retired

They're very good. Looks a little odd at airports where two approach ends cross (as seen in their pics)

I don't think it overwrites custom scenery - haven't checked yet though

The textures replace the default runway textures, so unless the custom scenery was made with its own .pol overlay, the textures will be used from the HD textures.

I like them better than default, especially for grass strips because the center of the grass appears "worn" and lighter in color which makes the strip a little easier to spot on approach.

Corsair GFX Hydro GTX-1080 8 GB, (2) 4TB hybrid HDs

Win 10 (1607), X-Plane 10.51r2 and X-Plane 11.01b1

One aspect I like about the dark asphalt texture is it makes the runway easier to see at a distance.
