Does anyone know or has an idea why when I'm landing at an airport which had a very low cloud ceiling or fog, most of the houses, trees and ground stuff turns white?

With some images might be easier to point out which texture is wrong here...

 

If I don't have fog I have normal textures like it can be seen in the "normal" image, but as soon it gets fogged in, everything is painted white... :\

 

Any idea about the wrong texture file in my textures folder?

I don't know but think it would be helpful to us if you told us the scenery you loaded (default or commercial scenery?) and whether you're using REX or GEX or AS2012 or just the default weather program.

Yeh.. you're right. The scenery is Lukla from Aerosoft, but it also happens in other scenerys, so it's not related to one particular scenery. I have REX installed and OpusFSX. The images posted above are with the fogged in native FSX weather.

 

This happens whenever there is fog, being default or injected from ASE, AS2012 or OpusFSX...

You using a shader mod of any kind?

By shader you mean the shader 3 from ******* "Bojote" (I guess) or the FXAA injector?

I'm using both...

Tried to use a different shader and the result is the same. In some airport / sceneries, when there's fog I get those super white textures in buildings, trees and some other add-on objects...

 

I guess I'll just uninstall fsx and reinstall it again. :-)

I had a similar problem a while back. I think it was because I had shader3 running with some shader2 mods, so best to uninstall both mods and start with just one.

also best try this before uninstalling FSX

btw The Shader Mod is NOT compatible with FS Water Configurator

Might worth a try!

 

If I rename my actual fsx.cfg to build a new one and put back into the main folder the original shader folder it should revert to original settings and I'll start from there....

To get the original shadersHLSL back. best to use the uninstall the shader3 mod from the program files start menu. When you restart fsx you should see the shaders being recompiled at the fsx start up.

are you using DX10, in the readme file for the Shader3 mod it refers to some problems with DX10.

I get this as well but with the Shade program. Currently using Marks Final abd I sae this going into KATL & KSAN last night. Only happens at night and when there is low clouds. It's either that or the weather program. Doesn't happen all the time. I dont have any other shader mod.
