Rudi, I haven't tried local Station Writes with DWC, because of the warning it may cause clear areas. At the moment AS2012 is working superbly for me, the weather depiction, low vis and wind effects are top shelf. Any issues you have found? Finally some sense into this matter. I use AS2012 SP2 in it's latest beta, with Daveo's recommended settings when flying NGX and MD-11, all wind smoothing in FSUIPC disabled. I never had any issues with windshifts, preasurechanges or sudden high temperatures aloft. My fuelcalculations and ETAs are spot on, as long as the winds aloft predictions I get from AS2012 are programmed in my FMC/FMS. I own Opus too, great depiction of real weather when flying GA, but for tubeliner longhauls, nah... Where can I find Daveo's recommended settings please? Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

Hi Will - I have, rarely, seen some holes in weather, but they haven't been immersion-busters for me. Try it out and see what you think.
