Using PMDG 737NGX and FSX Default Scenery :(

Try flying to Tonga with the Pacsim Tongan airports if you're after some scenery at the downhill end. ;-)

Great shots. You say that you don't have add-on scenery, but hey, you have the BEST FSX aircraft. Have you tried out some freeware scenery?

Thanks,

I currently use the ADE files for every major airport. When it comes to sceneries as in areas around airports, I haven't been too lucky finding many good ones. Do you have any airports/sceneries you could suggest? Along with that, my computer is low(er) end so I get 12-15 FPS at most airports in the NGX, I've even tried the larger ones (KATL,KORD,KJFK) and they drop it into the single digits. I also only have 2GB RAM, I tried upgrading but it crashed my flight simulator every time I tried to fly.

Have a go at the OZx sceneries (http://aussiex.org/f.../1-ozx-scenery/).

If you're also looking for some great aircraft, I suggest you look at the following:

-Any Project opensky aircraft

-Rick Piper's collection of aircraft, such as the A22 Foxbat,

-Ant's Airplanes (http://www.antsairplanes.com) - A large collection of light aircraft and small airfields.

-Project Airbus

Everything mentioned above is freeware.

As for the FPS, try running Bojote's tweaking tool for FSX. Just Google it, and it re configures your fsx.cfg file to save you some FPS. Also, try looking at what FSX features you use and the ones you don't use, and adjust your FSX settings menu accordingly.

Hope it helps, good luck!

Thanks,

Kevin L

Cool pics!

I use http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html to find sceneries for my sim. Most of the sceneries on there are good, just the odd few that are a bit wierd.

I do not own the PMDG B737, but its engines are modeled well: great detail, no blocky textures, and realistic shape!

very nice pics
