For Those Who Use Multiple Controllers

Featured Replies

I have a CH Products Flight Sim Yoke, Fighterstick and Pro Throttle. Would you leave both of your controllers plugged in? Or is it better to avoid potential conflicts and unplug the controller you are not using at the moment. I do use the paid version of FSPUIC for controller set ups and calibrations.

Thanks!

I use my wingman and pro flight yoke together using reg FSUIPC, No problems. I don't use the Wingman joystick to fly but as a means for view angles while taxing/flying and on some acrft as a tiller. I don't think you will encounter any problems.

I keep my Warty and my Saitek plugged separately, had issues that went away when I unplugged one. If that´ll go away in my new build and new updated fsuipc remains to be seen.

I have all CH products - Eclipse Yoke, Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Pro Throttle Quad - all plugged into available USB ports...but I use only combinations of 2-3 of them at a time. No problems here, and I use both FSUIPC and CH Control Manager, depending on the plane I'm flying.

Unplugging/replugging can mess up FSUICP assignments.

I'd unplug before starting FSX, and unplug after shutting down.

As long as You do not move the lever or axis even the default FSX assignment shouldn't be a problem considering You have more than one axis configured for the same action. Please be aware, that some devices have spikes (rapid change of lever/axis position).

Now imagine Yourself on a final, full flaps, throttle wide open and then another lever assigned for thrust spikes between 0% and 1% of range.

I highly recommend FSUIPC paid version and create some general profiles for jets, props, military, heli and so on.

Thanks for the advice guys ... I have all controllers plugged in and I'm going to leave them that way for now as everything seems to be working okay. Consistently unplugging to switch back and forth from stick to yoke was creating a mess with my controls. I agree ... FSUIPC is a must-have and very valuable add-on.
