March 4, 201313 yr I love flying around the Mcgrath area. Everything is so super detailed. Someone spent a lot of time with that one. I have not been there at night however, now I will have to check it out. Steve
March 4, 201313 yr Author I love flying around the Mcgrath area. Everything is so super detailed. Someone spent a lot of time with that one. I have not been there at night however, now I will have to check it out. Steve I always thought of it as a sample of what Flight was capable of (though the area still has its faults and could be better) It also made me think of what Orbx could do with the same tools. With the cancellation of flight, it was all water under the bridge and time to move on, but now the possibility of at least a scenery placement tool is dancing tantalizingly in my head once more. I spoke to somebody recently who apparently had at least some slight success with exporting mesh into the game and....... It could all be nothing again. If so, oh, well....... But it is nice to dream, at least a little. :unknw: We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. March 4, 201313 yr Personally I think we've turned a corner in Flight thanks to Stonelance. It will be very interesting to see where all this goes. I for one am looking forward to being able to modify, enhance, correct, etc... scenery. That would be unreal it it's at all possible. We shall all have to be patient and see where we go. Thank you. March 4, 201313 yr The Alaskan airports that received more detailed development are: - McGrath - Kodiak - Pedro Bay - Talkeetna - and Tatitna although McGrath is certainly one of the most detailed of them all. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
March 8, 201313 yr Thanks for the tips on some of the more detailed areas, I will definitely have to check them out. Don B
