March 12, 201313 yr It took me a long time to decide whether I'd include a German aircraft in my Wings of Prey screenshots. After reading the story posted in the link below I feel I can share some screenshots of German planes now. The Me 262 was one of the more beautiful aircraft in the war, if beauty can be found in war. I'm sure the pilots who flew it were steadfast in defending their loved ones as the war came to a close. It was so heartwarming to read the story found in the link below and I feel it ties in to my series of Wings of Prey screenshots. I hope you enjoy the screenshots. March 12, 201313 yr Spectacular! Can you imagine being the pilots of these aircraft near the end of the war? The fastest, baddest boy in the sky. If they had time to work the kinks out, the outcome may have been somewhat different. I think I'll lobby MilViz or someone to make a good model of this aircraft. Thanks much for posting. I'm so glad they didn't have time to work the kinks out. The outcome that came--the allied victory, was a necessary one to wipe the evil of ###### Germany from the world. My post is about the pilots who did their duty to defend their homeland, with a link to an article that shares the chivalry that still managed to exist despite such destruction. John
March 12, 201313 yr Very nice screens of, in my view, a very beautiful aircraft. Shame it was felt necessary to de-swastika it. In fact, IF it was completely de-swastika-ed it would have looked vastly better than those silly crosses. Anyway, as I said, lovely shots. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

You need to have history available to you accurately so that it can smack you in the face when needs be. Especially important to the youngsters. Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules
