April 4, 201313 yr I'm very interested in this too! Currently using a Buttkicker Gamer 2 so would be very interesting to know if someone with experience of both could share their experiences and how these two products compare.
April 4, 201313 yr Ivibe is a really good product when working, but; there is always a but. I had a version II iVibe seat but it broke about 3 years ago and I have not had any positive response from the suplier since then. Craig, the key person, has promised that all individuals who had a version II seat will get a new version III seat but I, like many others, are still waiting. With this in mind I would honestly wait until he is back up to speed in delivering products before making any move. For the record, he dd have legal issues and he did deliver on his promise to give everybody a free upgrade to verion II previously. Ok, negatives over; why have I not complained bitterly about this? This is the key; when working this is really really special. I can only say that the feeling when lifting off the runway, transition from tarmac to going airborne, is very very impressive as are many of the other effects. It may sound unreal but quite simply the effect of subtle vibrations linked into key points of an application like FSX really do give a very realistic effect. I miss my working iVibe very much indeed (Craig are you listening). Hopefully I will soon get a replacement and when I do I can guarantee it will be worth it. Bit of hot and cold there, but just trying to be honest. OldBadger
April 4, 201313 yr Thanks for your honest input, much appreciated!

What you describe sounds great and I'm tempted to try out pretty much everything that will increase the sense of realism but considering it wasn't that long since I bought the Buttkicker (which I'm very happy with) it would be really awesome to have some input from someone who already tried both products and could make a comparison.

For now I'll lay low and keep an eye on this thread.
April 5, 201313 yr The Ivibe website says: "FSUIPC is an interface for Microsoft Flight Sim that will provide the TFS3 Control Panel with the game telemetry needed to support intellVIBE." This fact alone makes the product sound very interesting!
April 5, 201313 yr Author Would anyone with version 3 be able to describe their experience? I also have a buttkicker gamer 2 and was wondering if this device could add to the experience. Cheers. Addit - just reading the ivibe forums it looks like version 3 has just been released not so long ago. Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering

April 5, 201313 yr Commercial Member Looking at the product with it's "seat", I am wondering how realistic would it be to feel vibration right on your butt? With my Buttkicker attached to the post of my chair I get the vibrations through the seat, the back, the arm rest. Not sure if that would be better or different? I did add two more "kickers". Got a good price of around $70 US on eBay a ways back. So I added one to my Saitek rudder pedals and the other to my "cockpit" where I get the vibrations through the throttle quad and yoke. The system works really good together giving me the sensation from head-to-toe. Adding the A2A Accufeel was icing on the cake. All I need now is a little "smell-o-vision" to complete the experience! Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11), EVGA 1300W PSUNetgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displaysFull array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

April 5, 201313 yr For me, anything would be better than my Buttkicker 2 experience. First one out of the box did not work (Amp problem). Replacement lasted a half dozen flights before the Amp went belly up again. Gave up, swallowed the cost and put it on the shelf. Rick Hobbs
April 5, 201313 yr For me, anything would be better than my Buttkicker 2 experience. First one out of the box did not work (Amp problem). Replacement lasted a half dozen flights before the Amp went belly up again. Gave up, swallowed the cost and put it on the shelf. I'm sorry to hear that! I've been lucky enough to have no problems at all so far with my BK2 and I'm very happy with it, the sense of actually "being there" has increased A LOT...sitting in the NGX and starting up the engines for example and actually FEEL how they spool up are simply amazing!! Now that I got used to also "feel" the simulation I wouldn't want to be without it, just as little as I would like to be without my TrackIR which is another "must have" if you ask me. Lots of money to put on the shelf, if I were you I would definitely go back again where you bought it and ask for yet another replacement because it sounds like you just had a really bad luck!
April 5, 201313 yr How "laggy" or behind the plane is it? Is it better to use on a soft (cushioned) or hard seat? 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
