April 12, 201313 yr Very nice pictures of russia. like seeing these photos of wings of prey almost tempted to try it out. It's a fun sim. It can be had on Steam for $19.99. I don't go into the combat part of it often. I don't like it when people are shooting at me--my clothes have enough holes in them. :smile2: I like the fact that it uses the gpu to its fullest extent--it's the most fluid combat sim or sim of any type I've ever owned. Of course there's tradeoffs for the fluidity--the scenery is a fairly small area although many areas are covered. Systems aren't modeled like they would be in FSX or XPlane. And some of the planes don't look exactly like their real world counterparts. But the feeling of flight is great, the scenery is nice to fly over, and the sky and cloud dynamics are awesome--cloud shadows, although subtle, are there. Thanks for your comments regarding the pictures. I'll try to capture more. John

Just tempted by it because used to drive in Russia mod in the European Truck simulator and the country side had that similar look and feel like modern times has not touched the area. I am purely low and slow flyer by nature and visuals are important to me.
April 12, 201313 yr It can also be had on Amazon.com for $14.99 along with Wings of the Luftwaffe for $10.99, or both as a set for $24.99. James D. Edwards
