Attention to Detail

Recommended Posts

I was doing a flight from Columbia Crest Winery, Paterson WA to home, KAST Astoria OR.  I was flying along the mighty Columbia River at about 6500ft agl and happened to look down and saw a series of twinkling lights in, not near, the Columbia.  Being able to step outside for a closer look I was able to see the the Orbx Scenery folks had thought to actually include navigation buoys for any virtual shipping on the river.  I am now left to wonder whether the locks actually work.

Yes, so much to see and discover with Orbx. And I haven't even installed England and Southern Alaska yet. A lot to look forward to.

The lighting creates quite a special atmosphere. FTX products seem fantastic—I hope I will be able to purchase my first soon!
