What kind of V2 will it be?

Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

Just curious to know about the upcoming 747V2(Most probably after B777)

What kind of update will the V2 contain? Will it just contain Graphical change like better graphics and effects or also bring new features/simulation ?

Is it like the upgrade from old PMDG 737 to NGX ?

Thanks, let me know

It'll ship with the most faithful representation of a fully-featured top-notch high-class PMDG-level weather radar (forgive me: just kidding!)

Sincerly, but still guessing: I'd expect

- some code that's easier than in the v1.0 (more like the current NGX)

- plus some features introduced in the NGX like the terrain representation and the VSI

- plus some features that are to be introduced with the 777 (TBA)

- plus some more pushing the limits beyond that.

It's a completely new aircraft with little or no shared with the V1. :)

[Also the 747-8 is going to be an expansion with a complete aircraft not just the sounds and visuals updated 3-4 years ago]

I'd rather think it'll be like the NG for FSX compared to the NG for FS9.   B)

What he said  .

Think like the NGX but better, think along the lines of the 777. Nothing is being recycled....

Tis all folks...

I concur with RSR, most amazing aircraft as far as I am concerned.  To have one on the level of quality of the NGX would be WOW!!!   Also, the 747-8i is an amazing addition with all systems simulated properly.

Kind regards

There is so much Hype about the T7 (Don't get me wrong I will have one) but to be Honest I am more excited about the new Queen. It is an Icon in aviation. I wonder how many airlines will be flying the T7 in 2060? And besides that IMO it is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built.

Thanks,

Ron

Funny you say that:  IMHO the bulbous front and over-fat fuselage makes it one of the ugliest.

Most beautiful jet IMHO is the 767-400.

Just to prove that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

"PMDG - please!!!" (My bad; couldn't resist.)
