April 22, 201313 yr Hi all Just wandered whether anyone would be able to tell me if the Majestic Q400 is going to be supported with Aerosoft NavData Pro? Thanks Gavin Price

April 23, 201313 yr Please make the effort to support Aerosoft NavData Pro, it's much more complete in my Country, same stuff used by the airliners. Alexis Mefano
April 23, 201313 yr +1 yes, please make it also possible to use NavData Pro... they use the more complete Lufthansa Lido database edit: Right now found out a nice go around if you use Feelthere plane + Navdata Pro First make a safety copy of the original airac file of the q400. Then only copy the actual airac file nd.mdb from /feelthere/Nd/ to SimObjects/Airplanes/mjc8q400/nav voila... ready to use Navdata Pro airac qith the Q400 Cheers Wolfgang
April 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member I afraid making the FMS compliant with several database can be a very very very complex development since different databases may (and surely do) have different formats. This will raise a lot of new bugs for sure.
April 23, 201313 yr Majestic Dash uses the feelthere database... I had one flight using it and no problems so far No need to spread some fear around ;-) Cheers Wolfgang
April 23, 201313 yr I think it would make much more sense for the developer of the Database to work with interacting with the Addon, not the opposite. Maybe your team can talk to Aerosoft to learn how they do stuff? I won't be buying Navigraph Credits since I already same some purchased from aerosoft, and the LIDO database is much more complete than the one used by Navigraph. About them using the same Database, is that true? Maybe it works but there are certain stuff that won't. Alexis Mefano
April 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member Alexis,When some of the dust settles, we may have a look at this. April 26, 201313 yr Hi, Simeon..... I would appreciate the ability to use NavDataPro as well - my Subscription is for that, NOT Navigraph. For me - NavDataPro is much simpler to update the AIRAC cycles - one installer for all my aircraft. That was a MAJOR reason I went with NDP. Thanks for listening!!! All best, Ray L (Blackbird)
April 26, 201313 yr I can confirm the Dash 8 Q400 works fine using the NavData Pro Database for the Feelthere E-Jet. It's the same file, just replace it and it will work. Alexis Mefano
April 26, 201313 yr Thanks, Alexis..... I'll give it a shot (as a Temp method). Best, Ray L (Blackbird)
