May 24, 201313 yr Great stuff Peter, we worked hard to ensure we quickly had full compatibility with the Majestic (well I didn't but Chris the programmer did!), and ACARS is even simpler to use since the latest updates too! How are you finding the PMDG Jetstream 41, it's a bit of a handful isn't it? Havn' t used the js4100 as of yet to busy with the dash yes the js4100 is a handful to fly. Hopefully you can add the ngx in the equation as well ? May 24, 201313 yr Perhaps, we're already planning to take on FS Labs A320 (when they release it, so here's hoping it's nothing less than superb). We haven't yet decided what sort of routes it's going to be deployed on but one thing for sure is we can't operate it or the NGX from London City, so we either get another London base or operate them from Birmingham and Edinburgh exclusively. But for now I am all scheduled out anyway; took what seemed like forever to realistically schedule over 600 flights on 64 aircraft! I have to do a demand calculation (i.e. how many people per week want to fly between two particular cities), compare it to existing provision and then work out what size plane to use and how many times to fly it per day, taking care to ensure the flights as well spread throughout the day. Then there's the time differences, airport operating hours and parking to consider (LCY is very restricted on parking, more than half of the aircraft we operate to LCY have to overnight at other airports, plus it's only open for the half the day during the weekend)! On the J41 I really recommend you complete the tutorial, it really helps in understanding the aircraft in an "undull" manner. Once you've mastered it and flown it on your own, you can get FS2Crew for it ^_^! ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

Had a quick look at your airline (nice site btw).A little surprised you're going for the A320 as I would have thought the A318/319 would have suited your regional ethos. Part of your appeal (from an outsider's pov) is that fact that you fly from and to lots of north-west European airports, keeping flights short. If you moved to longer routes you would lose what makes you different I think. Anyway, lot's of luck, I'll be keeping an eye on your VA.
May 25, 201313 yr Thanks. The issue with the 319 is it would be out after the 320 and probably cost more, even if it is probably a better fit for our operations. But don't worry, well be keeping the vast majority of sectors under 2 hours ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
