May 4, 201313 yr Yes, thanks from me too for the heads up: this is really very nice. The best way (IMHO) to remove the floating UG0B is to use Airport Design Editor. You can open the file AP959170.BGL, delete the runway and compile the airport. This creates a bgl file which solves the problem. It needs to be in a folder with higher priority than UGGG (UGTB) to work. The file is here, for those who don't have ADE (shame on you!):http://rapidshare.com/files/3124822431/UG0T_ADE9.zipMartin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
May 4, 201313 yr Author What would your good self or WingZ like?.... at the very least a flashing beacon on the top...red or white? No red at all. After looking at my last year pictures: In the red sections if the tower, the lights are more into yellow. In the white sections of the tower they are blue-white, like Xenon-type car headlights. But within the next second, all changes completely. So best would be you place yellowish and xenonish lights around randomly, the most important thing is that all of them are flashing wildly. The overall impression has to be more into the yellow... and... very bright! Not the best picture, because I had drunken more than one glass of delicious Qindzmarauli wine that evening. May 4, 201313 yr Author And thank you, any work you've done on the helo AFCAD will be a good starting point for me. http://www.file-upload.net/download-7552850/AF2_UGTM.bgl.html Here it is. Don't expect too much. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.

The overall impression has to be more into the yellow... and... very bright! Well someone else can do it then. Placing lights is not so easy especially when the elevations of everything is all to pot. .....have you noticed the TV tower shadows do not run on the ground?I tried to place one light and found myself having to guess the altitude. May 4, 201313 yr Author So may it be. Nevertheless, many thanks! Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
May 4, 201313 yr So may it be. Nevertheless, many thanks! Well the tower model does have nightlighting (a little white maybe) ...I think just a red (or white) beacon that can be seen from afar (the cockpit) is enough. My FS Videos
May 5, 201313 yr I agree flashing red is fine... now I've actually found the tower! Here's another reason I like this scenery, you get to play with exotic aircraft (I suppose a Ukraine Air Enterprise repaint would be more appropriate though) Fun to pull up at gate 103, but select 102 on the Xponder, and make the jetway come up to the 737 next door! Here it is. Don't expect too much. Harald, Chrome identifies the file as malware and alas won't download it!No matter, I've made a start: no shortage of interesting rotary wing in this part of the world.

At my system, the file does what it is supposed to. It defines heli parkings at Tbilisi... I use Mozilla Firefox with Adblock and NoScript and can d/l it without problems. May 5, 201313 yr Now I think of it, for a little 3k file, one could just rename the .bgl to .txt without even zipping it! Thanks Harald that worked fine, I had to drop the helipads from 1624 to 1621 to avoid them floating a little. Then: I had to adjust the traffic density somewhat
May 6, 201313 yr Author @ WingZ, which elevation mesh do you use? The afcad should fit with the Caucasus mesh from Avsimrus. So many helis? How comes? There are possibly more Mi-8 on this picture than my afcad has parking stands... And by the way, which Mi-8 model and repaints do you use? @ Jon, I remember that even with the older version I had the UG0T problem (see post #26, second picture, left upper corner). I just had no motivation to solve it ;-) Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
May 6, 201313 yr Stock mesh... I see you had the helipads over the top of normal parking which may have affected it. I was using Flight1's AI helos ( Vladimir Zhyhulskiy's Mi-8's mostly) and I think their parking is a little different from a "true" AI helo. I had the traffic set to 400% and certainly not enough helipads within that horizon!
