Thanks Alex, final question for you mate, is it compatible with REX? will REX overwrite the files?

I've uploaded my ENB mod.  You can find it here. You just go to your FSX folder and backup your enbpalette.bmp and enb ini file. Then just drop both enb files from the zip. Pretty simple. Then just reload your aircraft, your flight or restart fsx and the changes should be visible.

Like I said, my goal was to have brightness outside and have decent lighting inside. Brightness up in the clouds can be pretty bright (hence why a lot of pilots where sunglasses). Here are some sample pics at various times of day, inside and out. Some are probably pretty big...none of them are changed in any way.

Hey thanks!,

I heard that ENB series is great, but for some reason the DLL it uses, causes CTD to my computer. cheers.

I've heard that too.  There are a few ENB dll's floating around out there.  Maybe some of them have problems.

What I meant was that there seem to be a few versions of it.

Any D3D injector has to have that name - it works on the principle that the exe making the D3D calls will first check the program's root folder for the dll before moving on to looking in the Windows folder. The injector does its thing to the d3d calls and passes the modified version on to the real d3d9.dll file that's in the Windows folder.

Think of it like fly-by-wire augmentation for D3D calls.

The uiautomationcore.dll fix works on the same principle too - FSX checks the folder for it first and that stops it from using the bugged Windows folder version.

Wow do you remember what cloud set that is? Simply amazing

Sometimes I just sit there looking out the windows...LOL.  I use REX Vibrant Day for the sky and Cumulus 40 for the clouds.  I use ActiveSky for the engine.  I do wish I could find a smaller sun though.

Yes ,

I hate how enb hangs onto FSX dll's, I would never use it personally.

I use a fantastic bit of kit [it's one of my favourite purchases] called MOGWAISOFT - Shade [10euros].

Here is two examples from my machine/

[btw i am a big fan of the pmdg livery]

I'll have to give this a try Alex.  ENB always caused CTDs for me.  You've given me a few suggestions in the past that have panned out, so definitely looking forward to give this a whirl.
