They blocked Youtube links I believe!

From what you're saying, I think you are asking if the 'Camera Lights' are going to be modelled - probably yes, however only on the -300 series since only they have Ground Maneuvering Cameras. Or you're talking about the 'Wing light' that shines on the front of the wing/engine - that has been modelled (see latest preview).

Do you mean the lights beside each door? If they were modelled - I assume they'd come on when a door is opened via the PMDG Options in the CDU. You can clearly see the lights visually on the exterior model.

Hey Luke do you know if we'll be able to enter in fixes on the 777's FMC/CDU like we can with the 744?  I usually will select the airport I'm flying to and place two fixes at 10 and 20 miles out.  The rings make nice reference points on my approach.

Indeed there is! 4 pages is all the 777 has - NGX is something like 6!   ^_^

For the 777 - 435nm rings are generally an hours flying time for ETOPS. Of course lots of variables can change that - but that's a general reference to use.

Sweet deal, thanks.  I'm guessing the 777's FMC is very similar towards the 744's overall?  I don't have the NGX so I can't compare that, but just having 4 pages will be nice.

Yes and no. Fair few differences - but once you know one Boeing, you'll have no problems going to another. The NGX is pretty similar to the 777, but even there the differences will still be evident. I hate the way the NGX is in terms of VNAV - it's split up into CLB>CRS>DES - whereas the 77/74 just has one VNAV button with three pages, rather than split up.

When I flew the LDS 76, I wanted more than 2 fix pages so badly ha.
