I don't care if PMDG makes fictionals to be honest. I'm fine with it. I just don't see them doing it (except that ONE British Airways). There will be hundreds of real and fictionals on the avsim library anyway, so I just don't see why they should bother with anything else than the real ones. That's why it's getting a little stupid to look at the comments on facebook.

One thing that really annoys me and its totally unrelated to this topic. I saw one guy say on Facebook... "some people like me are already p****d off"-----Like what?! There might be new livery updates every day but Its still in development or being sanded down, what more could he expect?

 

PMDG must be annoyed by such comments, or they're just used to it by now. As it annoys me!

Haha I know right! We know from the NGX release that it was getting very close once they started posting pictures. It's not like they're just holding it back now until they've shown all the liveries that ships with the release!

And just to make it perfectly clear! I have absolutely no problem with anyone using fictional liveries! Many of them are quite well done and beautiful! All I'm saying is stop screaming like teenage girls, ready for a Bieber concert!   You'll get your favorite soon enough!

Ive given up and im just patiently waiting now lol. Honestly, to me even outside previews are getting quite boring already.. I havent fired up my fsx in a week now. Waiting for this T7, pro atc/x to update so ground traffic is controlled, and fscaptain update.

To be honest I don't really understand why PMDG decided to model the less common 777 variants, imagine if they had released the NGX as a -600 only to begin with!

 

Want to wait an additional year or more then? The reason is the engines - the 200LR, 777F and 300ER all use the same engine (GE90-110B/115B). If we did the 200/200ER first we'd have to do FDEs, custom engine code and FMC performance libraries for something like 6 different engines. The engines and tuning the performance stuff are probably the single most time consuming coding thing for any product we make.

 

And for the record, as with the NGX we are not painting fictional 200LR liveries. If people want to do that after release, there's a paint kit.

It says 'as with the NGX we are not  painting fictional 200LR liveries'. To me this means you didn't create any fictional liveries for the NGX, but the BA livery was technically fictional

 

Would be a massive shame if you didn't create a BA livery for the 200LR as there are alot of members in BAv that are waiting for the release.

The BA 737 was only half fictional anyway. BA did operate a few leased 800's a few years ago.

WOW! I thought sitting in my living room flying around the world with FSX was fictitious? Besides it's an opinion of some and just pure passion. Harmless I say.
