Windows XP

I've told my team to drop XP support after the 737 and the Bell 407.

Yep, I can clearly read that handwriting on the wall.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Announced are  (and not in any particular order so don't get any hopes up...)

Nice - Look foward to this one!

While I stuck with XP, I just didn't buy anything new, without ample evidence it would run well.

It's a good self-discipline, helps you remember to really use and enjoy what you already have, instead of superficially chasing after the latest/greatest Thing.

Now that I'm on Win 8 and a new machine (as my old one literally dried up and died... I still have the dusty bits), it is all the more difficult to engage in such self-discipline.

Oh well! :)
