May 29, 201313 yr Author Try this fix -http://forums1.avsim.net/topic/65089-square-nav-lights-is-this-a-bug/?hl=blue++background Best regards, Jim Thanks for the reply. I'll look at that. Actually what I found was it is this plane. This does not happen with the Duke. Slowly rolling through my library of addons to learn which ones are not DX10 friendly. The new Baytower RV7 displays white in DX10 with no external textures and when you fly in rain the windshield is white. Damn. DX10 was nearly perfect except for things like this. Duke is perfect in DX10 though as is the JS41. Did the pattern around CYVR in the JS41 with a Max Density Overcast layer above me and Scenery Complexity and Autogen set to Dense and Very Dense and fps were silky smooth and sitting between 26 and 30 the whole time. Not sure if I want to lose that now. Testing continues. Might just be that some planes will be left behind. C.

May 29, 201313 yr Author Check out which light is used for the square one, and replace it with one from a different aircraft. Have to say thanks BTW. My only regret is ignoring your past efforts in the forums last year or so trying to get people to see what DX10 is capable of now. I let my past experiences with it stop me from trying it and this week after over a year decided to try again one last time. Time heals all I guess. With the patch and the fact that current drivers force SuperSample AA in DX10 now. Wow. Wow. Wow. Thanks! Which framerate counter is that? I like the it tells you the total VRAM in use. That is RadeonPro for AMD cards. I think there is one for nVidia called MSI Afterburner. C.

I know I have flown it in Dx10 and it looked fine. Roger. SOH Staff

June 5, 201313 yr If you use nVidia and EVGA products, EVGA Precision X version 4.2.0.2143 lets you config the onscreen display of graphics card output while graphing the results. This feature helped me troubleshoot a CPU-GPU bottleneck that caused CTDs after 30 mins. into most flights. Rick Bertz
