June 4, 201313 yr I'll take the '850 up on a short hop and see what happens. I'm curious now. From observations of it, I should see at least some roll when rudder is applied. ...me too, will have some time to test a bit later and I'll report back with the result I get. **EDIT - ok I've tried it and I have some different results as compared to John...I've got some unexpected results and might explain why some of us feel there is something wrong (or at least something we don't typically experience). I've tried this both ways (with rudder trim at zero AND also with rudder trim at +5)...also note a zero wind condition: Flying straight and level, applying right rudder will induce a left roll (the left wing will drop) Flying straight and level, applying left rudder will induce a right wing roll (the right wing will drop) ...this is the opposite of what we're used to seeing in the sim, isn't it? the pic below shows full right rudder causing a left wing drop: Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
June 4, 201313 yr could it be that some more dihedral is needed on the wings? Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
June 5, 201313 yr Yup, i remember the first time my instructor got me to do the takeoff, i was shocked at the amount of rudder i had to use to keep the darn thing straight, i wish more fsx aircraft did that Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2 You must not own the Milviz Cessna 310, need lots of right rudder to get this gal off the ground, just like the real thing!
