Hello guys,

After long period of doing other things I'm now getting back to simming... this time it's the DCS series. Not sure if I'll stay with it for a long time, but anything could happen.

And now, after getting used to MCP Combo in FSX, I can't imagine how to play DCS without it. So I did some initial investigation and have found that it is possible to adapt LINDA to it. This will require to rewrite the Lua part of LINDA and to do some modifications in GUI part, but nothing impossible there.

So, my question is - how many of you really interested in this project? I'm asking because for my own purposes I can do a simple set of scripts without any GUI and with "hard-encoded" assignments - this will be much easier to implement, then doing a configurable all-purpose system. But if many of you will be interested, I'll consider to adapt LINDA for DCS.

I play DCS barely, but as you said, Artem, mainly because I can't use my Combo ;)

Would be nice to see LINDA for it.

If hardcoded or not... the amount of Addons is not too much in DCS: Warthog, Blackshark, P51, Huey ....?

Wouldn't hardcoded not be better then, if it's easier?

It's best to go to ED forums and present your project there.

Basically, I do not need it as I do not own advanced hardware.

Just curious: Why you cannot map MCP combo buttons via DCS controls in option menu? Problem with displays?

MCP Combo is not USB/HID device and as such it is not visible for DCS at all.

Project halted. Too much investments for too small output (mostly because I'm not flyng DCS myself). Sorry.
