A320 NEO update 1.3 released

Featured Replies

Hi Ralf,

I was about to post a query about this model since I watched a few videos and it did look good. Anyway, in none of the videos was I able to see the route plotted on the ND ? Is that a bug? How's VNAV / LNAV working overall?

Needs some testing now. Before 1.3 I would say stay away, but there's still hope.

Ok Ralf, looking fwd for your comments ;-)

this payware went from excellent at release last Christmas (32 bit)  to disaster after a few patches in 64bit.  It is my only payware out of  approx. (10) that keeps getting worse with patches instead of improving.  Peter's Bus is better in flight model and FBW Systems.  In 2013, the 320neo really disappointed me with it's updates :(   They still didn't even fix the male voice announcement in the cockpit:  "There is still hot in the cockpit"

I'm enroute to Barcelona. They did a good job with the update so far. Flying in 32bit, don't want to crash on the first trip.

So far I'd say if you own it, it's worth another install.

Exactly! It was quite a promising plane at first. Each beta or update made it worse and the last 1.3 version is quite a disaster. I still can somehow fly the 1.2 version with custom sounds and Slava cockpit, but the 1.3 is just a programming failure. Screwed Navdata, random CTDs, etc. Very disappointed my Russian friends...

Well, the FBW and flight model of Peter's A320 "feels better", without knowing if it really is.... I feared the worst when I installed 1.3 but I have to say, it's ok.

Let the screenshots talk:

One thing to add. If you have it, try again. Don't have it, buy it as an eye candy plane, it's a nice one. Not into eye candy? Stay away.

I'm really not an eye-candy lover... so think I'll pass on this one...

I notice they haven't released the VC texture update with 1.3. I've been using it with 1.3 beta and find it to be a MAJOR face-lift for the VC which originally looks a bit bland.

I just wish that the beta period would end and we'd have a 'final' aircraft. I do not agree with companies selling aircraft in beta form especially keeping it in beta for so long.

I used to think that way too, and indeed it appears that this new "model of business" is here to stay, but the fact is that this way we can also participate in the final product, commenting what is wrong, suggesting new features, etc...  This is after all what happens with XPX itself, and I do not really mind participating on it's continuous update process, even when some betas make my sessions CTD...

Waiting long without any idea about the release dates (as I have been waiting for Aerowinx PSX) is a PITA....

Definitely not with all developers.

We've been internally testing and fixing the Saab 340 for the past 4-6 months.

Good to see you enjoying X Plane once again, Jcomm
