EZDOK, disable world camera?

Featured Replies

Just bought this, love it so far but 1 issue.

When switching between VC to Airplane to World cameras, the textures get annoying lost and have to reload. This is obviously due to World camera being way away from the other 2 views.

Is there a way to disable World cameras so they don't appear when cycling with S key?

Happens to me as well. I am at OMDB and when switching views using the the S key, the world camera thing sends me (not the plane) to Seattle and when changing views back to OMDB  my plane is floating in the water and the airport disappears for about a minute or so.

Delete the EZdok universal world camera from your camera.cfg (in Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX)

Just those words or the whole [camera] section?

The whole camera section, i.e. where this camera is defined :-)

You dont have to remove it from the camera cfg. In EZDOK just set it so the world views will not cycle and instead assign a sperarate key stroke for that view category. That's what I do. Then the world views will never show unless you hit that new key you assigned to the world views category. Your other views will cycle as normal.

This way you wont have to give up your world cams (which are good for watching replays while standing near the runway at airports you frequent).
