June 29, 201312 yr From the Dev: Ok, I think I can get this next release out next weekend. I was hoping to have some time this weekend to complete but alas, that won't work out and I have to head out of town. I just have two minor bugs to fix related to the flight plan filter option and then I have to update the manual and create builds for the various platforms. Here's what's new: - Random flight plan generator as described in this thread: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=67119 - Add filter options to only display flight plans that are active or ones that are active and near the user - Display ground route currently in use by taxiing planes - Fix some ground routing issues and make sure planes don't hold for ones in push back or a deadlock results. - Add preference to disable ground collision avoidance in case planes back up (hopefully this won't happen anymore, at least not as much) - Add a preference to set aircraft startup time. This is normally 2 minutes but for testing ground routes it would be nice to set to zero minutes. - Add a preference to set debug logging level to control how much info gets written to the log file. - Fixed one bug that would crash the sim related to drawing objects in a track camera callback. This was a very intermittent problem and hard to find. - Planes can now turn on push back, although the tractor doesn't turn accurately... will fix that later, but people really want this - Fixed push-back problem where sometimes planes would keep going back for ever - when resynching planes, interpolate altitudes between waypoints - improve resynch algorithm so planes don't end up at first waypoint in some cases when it is determined that the plane is past the last waypoint at the time of resynch. - fix departure ground route algorithm so that runway with fewest allocated planes is chosen and its associated ground route instead of picking the first ground available that it finds. - average wind speed and direction over a minute so that the active runway doesn't flip continuously with variable winds. I'm also promised the 737 and A-320 in two weeks with more aircraft to follow as specified on my add-on list on my web site so this application should get more interesting soon.

July 1, 201312 yr Looking good. For the first version could he not have used planes from the X-CSL library like X-SB and X-Ivap do?
